Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology Malabe (SLIIT)
Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) Malabe was also established in 1999 by Lalith Athulathmudali Mahapola Trust Fund by investing Rs.500mn on the land owned by the Trust Fund.
Currently, it operates successfully by offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and accommodate over 7000 students, including international students from various regions in the world. More than 9000 alumni have graduated from three faculties: Business, Computer, and Engineering.
Further, SLIIT industry internship programmes with leading multinational and local organizations in Sri Lanka have provided an opportunity for students to learn beyond the taught content, enhancing their professional personality, and provide them with a greater understanding about the practical application of their knowledge.
